Sara Shapiro is a 2026-2027 legal fellow at PRP. She previously clerked on the D.C. Court of Appeals, did housing and reproductive rights work as a student attorney for a civil rights litigation clinic, and interned with the ACLU Abortion Criminal Defense Initiative, the Legal Aid Society, and Harvard Law’s Election Law Clinic. Prior to law school, she was a paralegal with Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s litigation team.

Sara received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, magna cum laude, and her B.A. from Brown University.
