Quemars Ahmed

Quemars Ahmed is an attorney with a background in federal, state, and local regulatory practice and public policy. Quemars is a member of PRP’s Election Protection Hub, which provides legal services and support to local election officials nationwide. He also engages in outreach to local government partners and coalition partners. At PRP, Quemars has been a part of numerous efforts to protect election administration.

Prior to joining PRP, Quemars practiced law at a firm working across the west coast and in the territories on issues ranging from zoning law to government contractual issues. Most recently, he worked for a nonprofit that focused on election administration law and policy. He also has worked in voter protection for presidential and state coordinated campaigns. He currently teaches legal courses for undergraduate students at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Quemars graduated from Seton Hall University, where he was salutatorian, and from UCLA School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the UCLA Law Review and earned honors in moot court. Quemars is based in La Cañada Flintridge, California where he serves as a commissioner for the city’s Sustainability and Resiliency Commission.
