Nick is an attorney with background in legislative advocacy and public policy focused on all aspects of democracy. He now works in PRP’s Election Protection Hub providing pro bono legal services and technical assistance to local election officials.

Prior to joining PRP, Nick was a senior policy attorney at a nationwide nonpartisan nonprofit, advising state affiliates on all aspects of democracy and political activity law and policy, including voting rights, redistricting, and campaign finance. Before that, he was a civic engagement director and lobbyist for a statewide nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to voter empowerment, where he led an award-winning vote-from-home campaign in 2020.

Nick received his B.A. cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College and his J.D. from University of Iowa Law School, where he earned high honors for pro bono service. Nick is based in Minnesota.
