Jeany is a staff attorney within Public Rights Project’s Civil Rights Hub, where she works with local government attorneys on emerging legal and policy issues. Prior to joining PRP, Jeany was a litigation associate at a large plaintiffs’ side firm, where she served as outside counsel to state attorneys general with a focus on consumer protection cases involving social media.

Before law school, Jeany served as a researcher on the Senate Judiciary Committee and in various roles on political campaigns and the private sector. Jeany received her juris doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was the co-president of the American Constitution Society and a member of the Samuelson Law, Technology, and Public Policy Clinic. She graduated with honors from Scripps College and is currently based in Oakland, California.
