Brittany is a strategic communications professional with more than seven years of experience shaping media strategy for social justice, progressive policy and national advocacy campaigns.

Before joining PRP, Brittany served as Senior Press Officer for Friends of the Earth, a national environmental nonprofit, supporting the organization’s program and legal teams and leading press strategy to hold polluters accountable, advance clean energy, and defend environmental justice. Before that, she worked at Erikson Communication Group, where she secured earned media for Ben & Jerry’s social justice campaigns on police accountability, press freedo,m and foreign policy. Early in her career, Brittany led communications and research work for the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign.

Brittany holds degrees in History, English, and Studio Art from the University of Vermont. She grew up in New York and is based in Seattle, Washington. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, baking, hanging out with her cat, Miso, and is a professional pumpkin carver.
