Alvaro Aragon joined the Public Rights Project in July 2026 as a Coordinator for the Civil Rights Hub where he plays a key role in supporting all team and programmatic operations.

Before joining PRP, Alvaro worked at multiple mission-driven non-profits focused on causes such as advocating for immigrant rights and equity in entrepreneurship. Alvaro currently volunteers for two immigration-centered organizations where he facilitates citizenship class sessions, provides technical training and helps oversee a youth mentorship program for refugee teenagers.

Alvaro is a first-generation graduate of the University of Virginia where he holds a B.A. in Government.
