Cassie Crawford
Cassie joined PRP in July 2025 and brings more than fifteen years of litigation experience to the organization. She previously spent almost seven years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Middle District of North Carolina, where she led the office’s affirmative civil enforcement practice, primarily focusing on civil rights enforcement and outreach, and False Claims Act enforcement and litigation. There, she helped secure a number of civil rights settlements, including: a Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act settlement reinforcing protections for incarcerated persons who are members of minority faith groups, a Fair Housing Act consent decree that obtained $13.5 million in relief for communities impacted by modern-day redlining, and numerous resolutions under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Before her government service, she was a partner at a national law firm in their commercial litigation practice group, where she maintained a robust pro bono practice.
Cassie started her career at a private law firm in Boston and clerked for the Honorable N. Carlton Tilley, Jr. of the Middle District of North Carolina and the Honorable William A. Webb of the Eastern District of North Carolina. She graduated from Middlebury College, cum laude, and Boston University School of Law, summa cum laude. Cassie is based in North Carolina.
